Trogontherium is an extinct species of beaver.
It was one of two (2) beaver species that was far bigger than the two beaver species that still are alive today. So far, there are no full body fossils found, as only portions of this beaver species have been found, though the fossils that were found identify it as a beaver species, and a larger beaver species as well.
