The Texas Longhorn is a species of cattle (also known as a cow). It is known for its long horns (hence the name of it), the horns on a Texas Longhorn can grow to at least seven feet long (it usaully points up into the air like a bulls). Similar cattle were imported by Spanish colonists into other parts of North America. Texas Longhorns are also known for their different coat coloring (such as tan, brown, and even tri-colors). Due to their innate gentle disposition and intelligence, Texas Longhorns are increasingly being trained as riding steers, making them more popular then ever.
